Luke 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
God gave us a light to shine to point others to His saving love. We need to let that light shine, and not hide it. There is no sense in lighting a and le, if you are not going to let it be seen. Shine on!
