I love to cook. Sometimes it turns out good, other times...not so much. Here are some of my favorite recipes!
This one is from my friend Lindelon from Coupon Chix.
3 large boneless/skinless chicken breasts (they can be frozen still)
1 can black beans rinsed
1 15 oz jar salsa
1 can corn drained
Dump it all in the crockpot and cook on low.
Shred chicken, add 1 southwestern cooking cream cheese and let it melt about 1/2 hr.
I served this over rice...this is such a yummy dish!
1 box Mac n Cheese
1/2 cup milk
1lb. ground beef
1 can stewed tomatoes
Preheat oven to 350. Brown the beef. Drain. Make the mac and cheese, add the milk (omit the butter the box calls for). Mix beef, mac n cheese, and tomatoes. Put in baking dish, sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
1 box graham crackers (I like the chocolate ones)
2 small boxes pudding, your choice of flavor
3 cups of milk
1 small tub of Cool Whip
1 can chocolate frosting
Mix pudding and milk. Add Cool Whip. Layer the graham crackers in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Place half of the pudding mixture over the crackers. Place another layer of crackers over the pudding. Place the second half of the pudding on the crackers. Place one more layer of crackers on top. Melt the frosting in the microwave (remove the foil!) and then pour over the top layer of crackers. Refrigerate. I think its better if it sits overnight. Yummo!
